Our family opened up their first Big & Tall Clothing Store in 1952, and the Extra Wide Sock Company was born in 1996 as a family-owned and operated business. We pride ourselves on our quality, passion, and service. While we were growing up, we noticed that many customers were not satisfied with the fit of the King-Size socks available in the store. They were definitely made longer than regular socks, but not wider. Many of our customers have wide feet, ankles, and legs due to medical reasons or just plain old Mother Nature. After years of watching peoples' frustrations, we decided to do something about it.

Designed for people with extreme lymphedema or any condition where feet, ankles, or calves are extremely wide or swollen, our socks offer superior stretch, with up to 30 inches at the calf, up to 21 inches in the foot, and up to 14 E width. These extra-extra wide foot, ankle, and leg socks stay up with a special "Stays Up" design. Available in white and black, the socks are one size fits all for adult men and women.

The material content of our socks is 91% cotton, 7% nylon, and 2% spandex, made in the USA with US-grown cotton and US-processed yarns. The toe seam is designed to be worn on the outside for people with diabetes, providing a seam-free feel. Additionally, the Microban Antimicrobial Technology helps prevent the growth of odor-causing bacteria.

Our socks are available in a variety of styles, including Athletic / Quarter, Dress, and Medical Socks. The Athletic / Quarter socks stretch up to 30 inches and fit over casts and Unna boots, going on easily and staying up. The Dress socks have a mid-calf height, medium thickness, and a 25-inch calf stretch. The Medical socks feature an inverted toe seam for a seam-free feel, a mid-calf height, and a 23-inch calf stretch.
